Fully hydrolysed film is denser and more water resistant than 88 mol% at the same coat weight, so barrier performance comes from chemistry, not extra coats.
Low add-on with high film strength suits fine and high-density fabrics where heavy size pickup stiffens the hand.
Solutions gel on cooling. Insulate tanks and lines, and never let a 2099 size box drop below 60 °C between shifts.
