How to run it on your line
Add 0.5–2% in dry-mix mortar; dry-blend with cement and filler before adding water.
Why 2699 works for mortar additive
2699, a high-viscosity 99% hydrolysis grade, stretched open time and crack resistance when paired with methyl-cellulose ether; it's one of our highest-repeat items with construction customers.
How it compares
Against 88-series, the 99% hydrolysis grade resists water better but needs hot water to dissolve; against competitors, our ash and volatiles are held tight so lot-to-lot drift is small — the thing emulsion and PVB customers care about most.
One tip we always give
Don't leave it in strong alkali too long or it loses viscosity; mix and use within 2 hours on site.

A Turkish dry-mix plant replaced RDP with our high-visc powder; cost per tonne of dry mortar dropped and crews said feel was unchanged. Our Ningxia Dadi QC keeps each lot sampled to expiry, so any issue is traceable.
FAQ
Redispersible powder vs PVA powder?
RDP is made using PVA as protective colloid; adding PVA powder directly is cheaper but you formulate the blend yourself.
